Welcome to St Mary the Virgin, Riverhead with Dunton Green

 

A warm welcome to the Parish of St. Mary the Virgin, Riverhead with Dunton Green, an Ecclesiastical Parish within the Deanery of Sevenoaks, located at the heart of Riverhead village in a prominent position for all to see as they enter Riverhead.

 

We are a friendly, faithful and welcoming church family, held together by our shared love of God; a small but lively and happy church with a church community including people of all ages and stages of their faith.  We enjoy meeting new people and pride ourselves in making sure everyone is welcome, whatever their colour or creed! Everybody is always very welcome to join us.

Our purpose is to worship and serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and we simply want to share His love in word and deed with everyone. We aim to do this by caring for each other and by serving the needs of our community.

We enjoy positive and happy working relationships with the schools, shops and other local groups, including the two Parish Councils of Dunton Green and Riverhead, and we are always looking for ways of working with them and everyone else for the benefit of everyone in our parish.

We are a (small but) lively and happy church family.  Our church building is located right in the middle of Riverhead. Our church community welcomes absolutely everybody.
